The Band Toto Asia
Toto was expanding its production facilities overseas, and was doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. 먹튀검증 saw North America as a growth market for Washlet bidet seats and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words to ensure that the future generation could understand the words. Many words were substituted with foreign words. For example dui, which was Bengali for verandah, was used.
Origins
The company was founded in 1917 and its early years mirrored Japan's economic growth. In the early years of its existence, the company manufactured goods to meet demand for new, modern urban housing. It had the first tunnel kiln in the country to produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered the use of automation to control production, allowing for greater efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding internationally in the latter part of the 1980s to benefit from new markets and sales opportunities. The company established the Cera Trading Company to import and distribute other products of other manufacturers in order to complement its own range of sanitary earthenwares and plumbing fittings. This strategy helped increase sales and increased the firm's market share.
In the 1990s Toto began to concentrate on research and development for water-related appliances. It also upgraded its system of distribution to better serve its customers and increase profit. The company used the same just-in time approach in its supply chain management and sales program. This led to a higher degree of customer satisfaction.
Toto continues to invent in the toilet technology. The latest toilet, for example, has a powerful tornado flush that is more ecologically friendly than conventional toilets. Toto also makes use of recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green procurement policy. In addition to toilets Toto manufactures faucets and bathtubs and hand dryers that are more efficient in terms of energy consumption than typical models.
The first museum of the company was opened in the year 2015 and features exhibits on Toto's most iconic products and their development, its group companies (all that deal with ceramics), history of plumbing and other products such as bath units and, in a different gallery, Toto products sold around the world. The museum also has a bathroom that features a WASHLET toilet as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before the formation of Toto, members of the group performed session work for various musicians. Keyboardist David Paich, drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all performed on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
You would expect a group with a name such as Asia to be a prog rock group, but it is actually a relatively straightforward rock outfit. The group started out as a quartet and released two albums - 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. But even though the band have a diverse musical background, their biggest success was achieved in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster but not without its issues. The record companies put the band under pressure to release the top single or they would rescind them. Toto was able achieve this through the aid of the hit song "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is the result of their previous experience. Before joining the group, the members worked as session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic trademark has become the standard for 1980s music, and has inspired a lot of contemporary artists.
The album begins with a hefty dose of hard rock with tracks like Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write amazing AOR songs that slowly work their hooks into you. The album also includes some jazzier, slower tracks like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations, a song which combines folk and distorted AOR and should sound totally wrong, but is incredibly effective.
After Toto IV the band's fortunes began to wane. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career, and the band went through various drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball left the band after drug charges. The band continued to play with Michael Porcaro, Steve Lukather and Michael Porcaro.
Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It wasn't as popular as IV. The band managed to release a chart-topping album, Kingdom of Desire, in 1992. This album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was the first to feature the new singer, Simon Phillips.

The band has performed across the world to a global crowd of millions, with sold-out shows across Europe, North America, Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand. The band's repertoire is huge, and their collective catalog has accumulated over a billion streams on streaming services around the world. Steve Lukather and Joe Williams have formed a strong and vibrant friendship that flourishes professionally on a global basis. In 2018 the duo celebrated 40 years of Tours Around The Sun by a hugely profitable global tour. The album with the same title ranked 5 on the Billboard 200. The new tour of the band includes their most popular songs and rarely live cuts, as well as some of the songs from Lukather and Williams the catalogs of their respective albums.

Line-up
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet format of previous albums and was a more ferocious, consistent effort that had an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The more edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the growth of the band. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased virtuosity was reflected by the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard work was as well more refined, more precise and less akin to previous efforts.
After touring to promote their album, the group recorded an Amsterdam live performance which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between. A new studio album was released shortly after, and the band embarked on a long-distance tour in support of the album. In this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started exploring old tapes and demos for a new album featuring songs that had never been recorded before. It was released in the form of a double-album called Then And Now in 2001. It was the first album in the band's history not to include any single song that had the word "A" in its title and it included one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and the vocalist Williams was suffering from a severe case of laryngitis which hampered his singing. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming duties were replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes and the other original members of Asia - Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the beginning of 2006 to discuss the possibility of reforming the band. This lineup, with the exception of Howe (who was working with Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured a guest appearance by singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
